SUMMER WEDDING: PINK, ORANGE AND GREEN INSPIRATION BOARD

Bright colors are very popular for spring and summer weddings. I have noticed alot of brides like putting pink, green and orange together for their wedding color palette so I decided to gather some ideas to help with planning.

COMBINATION COLORS

Please know you do not need to stick to a certain amount of colors unless you want too. Sometimes it is hard to just pick one or two colors and you may start to think of which additional colors you may like to add such as ivory, white, silver or gold.

INVITATION CHOICES

One of the most difficult decisions is finding a summer invitation that fits your budget. Alot of brides love metallic, shimmery paper with sating bows or rhinestones and with the more embellishments the more the invitation can be. This is where I want to help you get a bit creative. My opinion is to get the least expensive invitation that you can find then gather craft store coupons like Michael's and AC Moore off the computer or local newspapers. Craft stores have all the embellishments fairly price. You can add your own special touch yourself. For example, check out my recommended invitation shop, link below. I would sort to the lowest price and then see how I can work with it. An all white invitation with pink design and wording would be ideal for this color palette. Then I can go to the craft store and get orange rhinestones that can be simply glued on with a glue pen, not a hot glue stick. Those make to much of a mess. Martha Stewart has easy to use glue pens. I use them frequently! When you tend to make a big fuss over an invitation it gives an idea of how your reception and big day will be so don't raise the bar to high as keeping it simple will go along way. When your guests arrive and see the room they will be more shocked by your extravagant presentation.

BRIDESMAID DRESSES

Try department stores for the perfect bridesmaid dress. The dress displayed is from my favorite store Nordstrom. They have short to tea-length dresses under $100.00 sometimes. Check them out under their wedding section, you can't go wrong. They all are fabulous. For all Bridesmaid accessories and shoes they can be found on our additional hubs.

FLOWERS

Instead of going for so much money on flowers save the large flower arrangement for your reception and have a mini version of it for your girls. Even if you just wanted one bright orange or hot pink calla lily per girl. Switch it up so in your photos they each have the same dress with alternating flower color. You'll love how it will look.
