HOW TO PICK THE PERFECT BRIDAL DRESS FOR YOU!
73Yay! Looks like someone is engaged and is shopping for the perfect dress. I would like to introduce to you my favorite designer for both wedding dresses as well as bridesmaid dresses. Ever heard of Jim Hjelm? I bet you have and if you haven't oh your going to fall in love all over again. The Jim Hjelm Bridal collection is pure elegance. I have displayed a few of the dresses that touch base on the small details, such as lace, beading, material, and styles.
DO SHOP AROUND!:
Please take your time when shopping around. This is a special day for you and no one should rush you into buying a dress. Most of us tend to love the most expensive dress. If this happens, look over the dress and see what it is about the dress that you love. Is it the style, the beads, the way the lace is, rhinestones, material, etc. Something that attracted you to the dress can be found in another dress. You just need to find what it is that drew you to the dress.
DON'T BE SELECTIVE:
When browsing catalogs, online, and/or department stores for the perfect dress, do give all styles a try even if it is one you particularly would never go for. You may say that is not my style or that dress looks like a chandelier on that rack, I can never wear that! Think again, how many times have you said this and yet once you have put it on, you changed your mind completely? I have done this countless times when shopping for an outfit to go out in.
WEDDING DRESS STYLE TYPES:
There are five basic wedding dress styles: A-line/Princess, Empire, Mermaid/Fishtail, Ball Gown, and Column. See which style suits your body and taste. Sometimes for me it is not the silhouettes but it is the overall statement I would like to make on my big day. Be Adventurous. You get to wear an amazing couture style dress that you would not wear again. You will have tons of photos taken of you as well. You deserve to have one you love. Try as many as you want on and do not let a store clerk tell you otherwise.
SPEND WISELY:
Search online for a dress you would like to try on in a store. Once you find it, write down the designer, the dress style and number and then locate it in your state. You may have to call a few bridal salons to see if they carry it but this can save your time instead of wasting a trip there. Check out After Six Wedding Dress Designs to start getting ideas. Find out the price they offer it online then compare it to what the salon's are trying to sell it for. Once you notice they up'd the price. This is where the negotiations begin! Tell them you saw the dress elsewhere for such and such a price. Even tell them they are willing to throw in free alterations. See what they say. You may get the dress you want at the price you want. Be confident and know,"Customers always right!".
Have fun ladies picking the perfect dress for YOU! It is such an exciting time and even though we do not know each other- I'm super ecstatic for you! I hope this information has been useful. We appreciate feedback. Please let us know what you think of our hubs. Thank You.
