IDEAS FOR A ROYAL WEDDING THEME
73Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement on Tuesday November 16, 2010. Prince William’s marriage brings a big cheer to the whole Britain in amid economic woes. The royal wedding will be held on the 30 year anniversary of his parents’ wedding. Recently, Buckinghan Palace announces that Prince William and Kate Middleton will marry on Friday 29 April at Westminster Abbey. The Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr. John Hall, welcomes the couple choice and looks forward to the detailed planning. The forthcoming royal marriage will take place on Friday 29 April which falls in the same week as Easter. By choosing that time, the couple made it clear that they wish everybody enjoy that day with them.
In this Hub, I wanted to give you ideas for "A Royal Love" wedding theme that can also be incorporated in any special occassion. Since Prince William and Kate Middleton are engaged, I wanted to include them in this inspiration board.
First, there is a royality symbol that you should know about. It is called fleur-de-lis. It is a stylized lily (in French, fleur means flower , and lis means lily ) or Iris that is used as a decorative design or symbol. I think it is a beautiful design!
Secondly, everyone is in love with love so why not add a twist to your royal gala and bring in elements of Paris! Paris is the enchanting City of Light and one of the most romantic places on earth—you might even call it the City of Love, and I think you must include it in this theme. The Eiffel Tower is wonderful landmark. When your event has a distinctly French flavor, favor your guests with a thank-you gift that's magnifique! Take a look at our fabulous options. We have enough to capture all your needs, whether your looking for decor to accent black and white photos from a trip in Paris or your journey in love to the perfect item to have your guests reflect on your royal day from lifetimes to come. Not only did I include photos of both symbols i.e. Royality and city of love, I also added a few inspiration boards. I take pride in small details and feel they make a big impact for events. Feel free to check out all the images on my website- http://bellamevents.theaspenshops.com/.
