ROSE WEDDING THEME

Red roses are the traditional symbol for love and romance, and a time-honored way to say "I love you." It also symbolizes beauty and perfection. What better theme to do for your wedding?! It is the one day to express your love in front of all your family and friends.

There are many colored roses out there but since I want to do a wedding theme, I choose red. The small details from wedding invitations down to guest favor should be consistent. You can have a red wedding invitation, white invitation with rose pattern, cream and red invitation, and so on. The choices out there can be confusing. The best way to pick your favorite is not by browsing long but instead pick a few of your favorite sites then do a price compare. Check to see what you can afford. There is tons to do for the ceremony and reception therefore the less cost on invitations the better. The invitations are very important so lets not forget. It is the first thing that your guest see to set the mood but it should not take a large chunk from your budget.

When thinking of your ceremony, I would add rose pedals to your aisle or rose balls to the chairs/ pews. It all depends where you will have your ceremony. You can have it indoor or outdoors, but in a church or at your venue. It is nice to match your stationary for ceremony and reception i.e. program cards, seating cards, table numbers, menu cards, signs around the bars with love quotes and a signature drink. The seating card table can have a unique set up. You can have rose pedals and the cards placed on top of them with tea-lights or you can have one rose ball, candles, pilar candle holders as displayed in the picture. You can really think outside the box when decorating your space. Always check with the venue if you can bring in certain items and you may want to find a event planner to complete the set up day of the event. Please take a look at the reception decor photo ideas. You can do over the top centerpieces as displayed or you can do low centerpieces. Tea-lights set the mood very romantic. I love tying in food and speciality drinks with the theme. It adds a nice special touch that your guest won't expect. I also found a unique idea you can do when you make your grand entrance. When the MC weclomes  you and your partner  as husband and wife into the room, you can have a rose pedal drop to walk through. The signature drink that can be passed around can be rose champagne and a nice montage of photos can be displayed throughout the night for another special touch. For your wedding cake, you can have roses flustered around the layers of the cake or bundled on top. When choosing the bakery for your cake, if you decide not to have the venue do it, always check prior wedding photos and reviews.
