Popular drinks in the 1950′s were all about gin. Gin and Tonic, Sloe Gin Fizz, Gimlet, all made with gin. My choice for a 1950′s cocktail would be the Aviation. Good quality gin with flavors of cherry and lime and a sassy presentation gets my vote. See photo below.
