Kitchen Bridal Shower Bridesmaids Attire Idea

An adorable change for a bridal shower is having the Bridesmaids stand out from the rest by wearing aprons! It is a great way for the guests to get familiar with who the girls are in advance and who to ask questions too if they need anything at the shower. Kitchen Bridal Shower Centerpieces and decorations

The ideal Bridal shower centerpiece for a kitchen theme would be indeed kitchen utensils! I think it looks adorable. You can find vintage, modern and/or traditional styled ones at any home goods store. It will save cost then flowers however if you did want to add flowers, I would suggest doing cute vintage soda bottles and have one flower in each bottle as an extra touch. It would remind some of the older guests of first dates they may have went on back in the day.

As for additional decorations, I would suggest having photos of both families in different styled picture frames. This is usually what you see when you enter someones home. That is the feel you are going for here. Also a fun unique idea would be to add retro/ classic pictures like the ones I have featured in my summary gallery.

Kitchen Bridal Shower Wishing Well Idea

I love to do a unique presentation for wishing wells. For this particular theme, I would love to see a manikin with an apron. You can use the same one the girls wear with the Bride's name or initial. You can ask each guests to bring a recipe or a cook book. The recipes can be placed inside the apron when guests arrive and the good books can be placed in a wicker basket below the apron. It will come off very retro yet fun! Plus, the presentation is another gift to the Bride. I have seen manikins inexpensively on eBay as well as the store called "Home Goods" in New Jersey.

Kitchen Bridal Shower Entertainment and Games

A unique way to surprise the Bride as well as guests is to have an impersonator come in. For the kitchen theme, I would love to see a "I love Lucy" impersonator. Who does not love her? She will have everyone laughing up a storm. Then guests can take pictures with her for great memories to come.

For games, I say stick to the traditional bingo. It is not as bad as some people make it seem. You can make your own custom bingo cards right off the computer. The bingo game prizes do not have to be 5 winners. Make it 20 winners! I know you think well that's alot and we do not want to go over budget. Don't worry! The bingo gifts should be from a dollar to two dollars each. Check out the adorable packaged kitchen items we have on our shop. I have displayed a handful in my photos. The idea is to get the guests excited that the majority of them can win something which will keep them focused and not yawning while gifts are being opened. You can package the gifts in tissue paper and add curly ribbon that you may have around the house.

If you decide to go with the retro/ classic kitchen Bridal Shower, I would suggest to go with a home pie from either the Bride, Groom or even both families, depending how many people there will be. Most families have secret family recipes. This would be a great time to share those recipes to join both families and friends together. I am sure the Mother's would love the idea. After all, it is all about welcoming each other into their families and homes. So think about skipping the baker and save cost with going with home pies.
