Christmas Party Ideas and Activities
60Tis the Season!
My favorite time of year has arrived- Christmas!
Santa Claus, who is also known as Saint Nicholas,Sinterklaas, Kris Kringle, Father Christmas or simply "Santa" is a historical, mythological, and legendary figure who brings gifts to the homes of the good children during the late evening and overnight hours of Christmas Eve, December 24 or on his Feast Day, December 6 (Saint Nicholas Day).
The Tradition in my family is celebrating the holiday on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Our family members get together for a big seafood feast on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day we have an assortment of food. This year we have a special delivery, the arrival of my second niece!! I am a very excited Aunt-to-Be. Although she will not understand the tradition with Santa Claus just yet, I have been browsing how to make Santa believable to children. I think I found something pretty creative out there and am thrilled to share it with you! It is "letters from Santa" and even "phone calls from Santa". As the whole family is seating around the dinner table, its the perfect opportunity to have the letter from the North Pole or call from Santa occur. This way your child sees that both of you are not Santa! Your probably thinking how? You can ask a friend or family member do the calling and you can write the letter aside with leaving milk and cookies by the tree along with carrots for the reindeers.
If you are hosting the holiday this year, I have presented a few holiday party ideas for at home and Christmas Stocking gifts for your loved ones. Hope the concepts inspire you for your holiday gala. The small details really make a big impact to a room and its always lovely to surprise your guests. Don't forget to play Christmas Carole's while your guests mingle!
Wishing you a warm, joyous and festive holiday! http://bellamevents.theaspenshops.com/
