BLACK AND RED GOTHIC WEDDING THEME CONCEPT AND IDEAS
74There are many ways to goth up your wedding day in a classy way so that all your guests get a sense of who you are and still sense some tradition with weddings even though this is not an ordinary concept to choose. Gothic people are just like everyone else. They just express them selves differently. Just because they don't look the same as everyone due to liking to dress in dark clothes and have different beliefs, doesn't mean that they are crazy or anything. They are normal healthy people and should just have the chance to talk to people different from them if they want it without being looked at like a outsider. Everyone is different and to me there is no right or wrong way to do things. I wanted to touch base on this idea for a wedding because I see questions on it quite often. Some creativeness and expert research can really broaden your horizon. I hope you are captivated by the photos and really find the ideas useful.
I chose red, black and white for the theme colors. Alternate colors can be deep purples and greys. After researching about this topic, I find that there are even several different generations from Romans and Medieval times to being fascinated with darkness. I chose more of a goth romance and did not want it to look like a Halloween theme with skulls and crosses. Red roses for love and romance. Black accents like vases, picture frames, napkin ring gems are all great rich pieces that will make the "darkness" beautiful. There are some great food and beverages out there for this theme like rich steaks, red velvet filling and grenadine to go in champagne to bring more red into the mix in a unique way. It would be beautiful to have tons of damask candle holders around the ceremony and reception sites. The glistening will give a warm welcome feeling to your guests. For entertainment, you can have a live band and have an extra attraction to the night like a flam thrower. A nice thank you gift to your guests can be a theme photo of you and your fiance in a Gothic setting placed in a photo frame. Check out the wonderful selection we have at http://bellamevents.theaspenshops.com/category/place-card-holders-and-frames.html.
The bridesmaids can wear red or black with red roses and black feathers as bouquets. Before finding the perfect wedding dress in Gothic style, you have to decide what features you prefer. Do you want a dark style, the vampires and witches, or you prefer more the Gothic Celtic accents, rich materials and a variety of dark colors? There are so many choices out there. In my photos I have found a Gothic style wedding gown that has traditional white with black. The men can wear long black tuxedos with top hats that include the red rose and black feather on them. Their vest and shirt can be all black.
I hope these ideas are a great starting point when planning your special day!

Two summers ago when on a vacation on Mackinac Island there was a Gothic wedding. While it is not for me it really was cool seeing everyone's unique style. I've never seen brides maids look so cool.

this is very elegant. red and black on white linens is so sophisticated. the chairs also matched the black ornaments. Goth wedding need not be dark, gory and "spikey" (you know what i mean!). i was able to see a Goth wedding once and the bride was so much like a Victorian Barbie Doll from the porcelain Victorian tea collection. i believe Goth inspired weddings achieves the effect with with minimum effort.this is a great hub. i can get great tips here.
